my brain died on me today. nothing went in
thank God for America's Funniest Home Videos that made me laugh and get part of my life back again.
anyway, i met my sgs junior today on the bus. Azhar might remember him, that malay boy that kept irritating me and bugging me during sec 3 after their sec 1 camp. And i know that i was very cold towards him cause i got disgusted by how he used to be very sticky to me after the camp. I got Azhar to get rid of him once too. hahahaha.
when i saw him on the bus today. i was shocked. he came up and sat next to me. he has grown so much, from sec 1 to sec 5!!! oh my goodness. it's been 4 years since i've spoken to him. hahahaha, time flies and i'm growing older. anyway, we talked about sgs, about sec 1 camp. then he asked why was i so cold towards him last time? my only reply was "i'm sorry, i was childish and immature"
and then it kept me thinking, what's the actual reason that i shun away from him? when all he ever wanted was to look up to me as an older sister that would care for him. sighs. the things we do when we were young...
thus, to my dear Azhar, is this a familiar scenario on your part??? but azhar was violent, he hit me and slap me before. oh wait, or was it i who slapped him. i can't remember. haha
simply put, we were young and senseless, but i'm glad that as we grew, we learnt to understand, appreciate and treasure.
best of friends come and long way and will grow a long way more. it's with hurdles, slaps, shouting, vulgarities, cold wars, heated arguments and sacrifices that brings us closer with a bond stronger than before =)
don't look back and regret, don't look back and think what it would have been like if it did not happen. because the fact is that it did happen, and the best path is the one you're walking now. smile, as it all happened for a reason
