I just went through a super roller coaster for the past 2 days. First of all. This is how I look like now!!! HAHAHAHAHA
Well, it all started when I left Sentosa on thursday evening. The minute i touch ground after alighting from the bus, it rained cats and dogs. So since i was already late into going to joyner's mum's salon, i decided to cab down. So the cab had to drive from harbour front to macpherson. And then it had to be such an unlucky day for me that there was a jam, a MASSIVE JAM. For the first time in my entire life i see the sign board on the road stating MASSIVE JAM. It was so bad that it would take 85 minutes for a car to drive from outram to woodlands. UGH! *roll eyes*!!!
So the nice taxi driver drove a slightly faster route, but the cab fare still came up to about $18. Before i left the taxi he asked if i wanted the reciept, but i was in a rush so i just kindly refused and rushed out of the cab, LEAVING my plastic bag of 3 library books and a stack of $26 photocopied notes!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only realised after i came out from the toilet. AH!!!!!!!!!!! 3 library books lay!!! HOW HOW HOW!!!!????? I felt super super jia lat!!! Super super gone case!!! Like my heart just died!!! I didn't know the cab company, I didn't know the driver, I didn't know the cab number plate. I WAS SCREWED!!!! Notice how many hints there were for me, the rain, the massive jam, the reciept. UGH!!!!
After that things got a little happier but i was still worried about the books. I got my hair rebonded, then i continued to call the cab companies, but no sign of any one finding it. It's gone. No more books! Books that i just borrowed on that day, books that i needed for my projects, but its all gone!!!! But anyway, headed to meet sarah and nic to go surprise the finally 18 year old girl. LEANNA BABE!!!! Small girl is finally 18. Muahahaha HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Hope u liked the presents =)
The next day continued with me feeling like shit cos no cab company called me back. I decided to give up hope and go check out what are the things i have to do. First of all i photocopied the $13 notes. Then i went to the library to check out how much i would have to pay for the books. $250!!!!!! for the stupid 3 books. $250!!!!$250!!!!!!!!!!!!! UGH. Super demoralised. Super dead!!!!!
Then i went with lynette to eat, and she being my lucky star, brought the biggest luck to me!!! THE CAB COMPANY CALLED!!!!!!! THEY FOUND MY BOOKS!!!!! WAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! SUPER HAPPY!!!! AH!!! I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!!!HAHAHAHA!!!!! Amazing!!!!! I will keep my promise to the lord. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HELPING ME FIND IT!!!! Save my $250.... heng heng
Thank you lord for helping me find it, thank you taxi driver Mr Lim Mok, of SH9465R, for being so kind as to return it to the lost and found. From now on i'll take only comfort taxi. HAHAHHAHAHA. Thank you dumbernarians for cheering me up and telling me that everything will be alright, for being there at my saddest moments. Thank you christina for cheering me up despite your beautiful hair-do, thank you joyner for making me feel better at that very point in time that i lost the books, thank you lynette for being my lucky star and following me to the library to hear about the $250!!! and thank you diana for being there to empathize with me. Thannk you sarah!!! for comforting me that it will be a better day, thank you nic for listening to my rants!!! hahaha. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!!! I'm a lucky girl, only because I have all of you lovely people =)
